Dick Groat was a truly great athlete who sometimes gets lost in the welter of great shortstops. He didn’t have great speed or a particularly strong arm, but he was always in the right place at the right time. Probably one of the best all time at positioning himself for the hitter based on the pitcher and what he was throwing. He was league MVP, won several batting titles, always led the league in putouts and assists. Right place, right time.
Look. Really. If you are going to advertise the “I made a million, you can too” scheme, DON’T USE A CHEAPO FREE SERVICE TO MAKE YOUR SPLASH PAGE. Really. If you made a million why not spend the $10.00 for a professional splash? Just a hint. No charge.
Speaking of Splash Pages, what’s up with those pages that have the little bitty rectangle of words in the top left corner of the page? If I can’t see it, the chances are pretty darn slim that I am going to click on it. Wasted credits at best.
And don’t, DO NOT promote somebody elses’ page. I can’t believe the number of pages I see in rotation that are promoted by one person with another person’s picture in it. Jeeze, put your own picture in it. PLEASE.
There are just a load of new programs in TE Land. I am going to do a product review once a week for at least a couple of months to catch up with the new and improved part of the business. Current plan is for Thursday. Pending change and my normal confusion…
Dick Groat was a gifted athlete who was a college all american at Duke in baseball and basketball. He is the only man to be in both the College Baseball and Basketball Halls of Fame. Legendary for being in the right place at the right time. A pretty good business model, too.
I’m just sayin’
